A really unfashionable working class girl Chen Xin Yi has the desire to tie down her handsome boyfriend to be with her. When it comes to Taiwanese dramas, it's usually a hit or miss. Fated to Love You is definitely a hit! I immediately loved most of the characters. I couldn't stop laughing at how quirky, odd, sweet, funny the characters are. I especially adore the Xin Yi and Cun Xi pairing. I'm a sucker for Cinderalla stories. Xin Yi is more than selfless, she's just too good of a person. What I love is that Cun Xi recognizes this. He realizes it most when he's neglecting her and when thinking the worst of her. Their romance is gradual and the forced union is what made me keep watching. You get to see how the relationship develops. From convenience and doing what's right, to genuine affection and eventual love.

Like other fans, I'm also loving Xin Yi's relationship with Dylan. But it's more of an outlet. I admit that they are also adorable and Dylan genuinely cares for Xin Yi. But like all love triangles, one person, Cun Xi in this case, is Xin Yi's fate. Fate unites them and their choices and decisions divide them. No road to love is smooth. But eventually, like a perfect twdrama, they'll find their happilly ever after ending.
